Dr. Liston Bochette III, ICC Chairman

On behalf of Puerto Rico, Dr. Bochette competed in five Olympic Games, both as a decathlete (summer) and bobsledder (winter). He has served on multiple international sports federations, committees, and boards including serving as a delegate to the White House for Olympic Affairs and as a speaker in front of the United Nations. Bochette served as counsel and assistant to International Olympic Committee member German Riekehoff until his death. He presided over 200-plus national governing sport bodies (NGBs) during two terms as the Secretary-General to the World Olympians Association. He also served as President of the Pan American Olympians Association and was selected to participate on the Athletes’ Commission of the International Olympic Committee. Dr. Bochette is currently an elected member of the Fort Myers City Council

Josiah Henson, Esq.

Josh has worked as an attorney for law firms in the northeast United States, representing clients on matters including international trade, energy regulations, and ethics. Currently, he is a principal at IPO Pang Xingpu and partner of Henson, Pang, and Winnie, a law firm and consulting group based in Washington, D.C., and Shanghai.

Josh attended Harvard College and the University of Virginia, and is active in the entertainment industry, working with producers to release their films and TV shows, as well as with writers and performers. He resides in the Washington area.

Dr. Bonnie Tiell, PhD

Dr. Tiell is a Professor of Management at Tiffin University, a non-resident faculty member for the United States Sports Academy, and president of Tiell Total Sports, LLC. Her involvement with sport education on five continents and extensive publishing experience makes her a leading authority in global sport administration. She is editor/co-author of Sport Governance and Authority: Analysis and Applications (Human Kinetics 2020) and Human Resources in Sport: A Managerial Approach (Jones & Bartlett 2017). Tiell is also a member of the editorial board for The Sport Journal and a continuing education correspondent for Sport Destination magazine. She has directed the Academic Experience with Olympians at every summer Olympics since the 2004 Games in Athens and is the co-founder of the Women’s Leadership Symposium in Intercollegiate Athletics which is currently funded and administered by Women Leader’s in College Sports (WLCS) and the NCAA. She has served as a Dean of Graduate Studies, Assistant Athletic Director, MBA Chair, Program Chair, NCAA Faculty Athletic Representative, and Head Coach of three collegiate sports which included two national appearances (softball and tennis). Tiell writes a monthly column on sport and social issues for The Advertiser-Tribune in Tiffin, Ohio where she resides.

Aliann Pompey, M.A.

Aliann Pompey is the honorary chair of Life After the Games, president of the Panam Sports Athlete’s Commission, and a four-time Olympic sprinter in the 400 meters representing Guyana, her home country, and site of the annual Aliann Pompey Invitational, an event of the Continental Tour of World Athletics. She has also been elected as a member of the executive board for the World Olympians Association.

As an athlete, Pompey placed first in the 400 at the 2000 NCAA indoor track and field championships for Manhattan College, where she received both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree and is a member of the Hall of Fame.

Pompey also won gold at the 2002 Commonwealth Games, again for the 400 meters. She is the associate head coach for track and field at St. John’s University in New York City, where she now lives.

James DeMeo, M.S.

James DeMeo is the founder of Unified Sports & Entertainment Consulting, LLC, specializing in sports and event security. Before starting his own company, Mr. DeMeo spent over two decades in law enforcement and served as a detective in the Nassau County Police Department on Long Island, N.Y., where he investigated cases of missing persons and oversaw afterschool sports programs for at-risk children aimed at preventing juvenile delinquency.

Upon the opening of Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in 2012, Mr. DeMeo served as a lead event security supervisor overseeing the safety operations of major events at the arena, both sporting (college basketball, boxing) and non-sporting (Grand Opening, Jay-Z and Beyonce, Barbra Streisand concerts). He later worked in public safety at Adelphi University, Long Island, NY, and the Texas A&M University Health Science Center in Round Rock, Texas. Named by Security Magazine in 2017 as one of the most influential people in the industry, he has also made presentations around the U.S. at security conferences and written articles about venue security in domestic and international publications.

Mr. DeMeo holds a Bachelor’s in History and Political Science from Long Island University-Post and a Master’s degree in Sports Management from Adelphi University. He is based in Raleigh, N.C.

Brian Siguenza

Brian is a communications professional who received his Master of Business Administration from Tiffin University in December 2020 with a concentration in Sports Management. Graduating with a Bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of Iowa, Brian has worked as a producer for ABC, CBS, and Fox affiliates in Iowa, as well as a features reporter for The Gazette, the state’s second-largest newspaper. He is a resident of Cedar Rapids, where he has been in the nonprofit sector since 2010.

Katie Tiell

Katie is a marketing and communications professional who received her Master of Humanities with a Communications focus from Tiffin University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Emerging Media with a Minor in Sports Management from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. Currently, she is a journalism and social media assistant for Between the Line Sports. Several of her internships included working with the Lake Erie Crushers and Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, which included assignments with the World YOYO Championships and MLB All-Star game.

Jared Orskog

Jared is a sports broadcaster/communications professional who is scheduled to receive his Master’s Degree in sports management from Tiffin University. During his time at Tiffin, Jared worked for WTUD Tiffin Dragon Radio. While completing his Bachelor’s degree from Defiance College, Jared worked in the sports information department. Jared has worked for WKKI Radio and Fun 107.1 FM. He currently works in Van Wert, Ohio where he resides.

Emily Koehler

Emily is currently an intern with Northern Ohio Section Foundation, where she has held the position since 2019. She is majoring in sports management with a marketing concentration at Tiffin University. Emily is one of the mainstays on the women’s golf team with the Dragons. During her time at Tiffin, she is also a tutor for courses such as business and math. Emily currently resides in Vienna, Ohio.
